Claudio D’Angelo was unanimously elected chairman of J-Invest Spa by the board of directors held on 11 December, succeeding the late Michele Giura.
Claudio has taken up the role of Chairman of the board of directors at J-Invest S.p.A. after being a board member with responsibility for external relations since September 2018.
Born in Bologna (BO) on February 15, 1971, he is an entrepreneur and investor in the digital healthcare sector and co-founder and Managing Partner of Ryse Asset Management LLP, a venture capital company authorized and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).
From 2009 to 2014 Claudio was the sole Director of Gauss Investments Ltd, an FCA authorised and regulated investment advisor.
Previously from 2005 to 2009 Claudio was Head of Sales to Europe and Middle East in Equities and Derivatives at BNP Paribas in London, and a member of the Management Committee.
From 2000-2005, he worked at Lehman Brothers London in Equity Finance & Delta 1 as Head of Institutional Sales to Europe. First he was an analyst and then a fixed income seller at IBJ and Dresdner Bank, both in London and Frankfurt.
Claudio holds a degree in Economics from Bologna University, Italy. He also earned an Executive Master’s programme in finance at INSEAD, Fontainebleau, France.
